What will you be working on?
In your role as an energy engineer at Coor, you will create economical, energy-efficient, and environmentally interesting solutions for our customers. You will provide our clients with expertise in energy and sustainability-related issues.
Your role as an energy engineer means that you have broad competence in both energy systems and the energy market as the work meets a variety of different customer needs and requests. You will be responsible for helping to develop energy efficiency measures, primarily within properties. You will work on smaller and larger energy projects with a wide network of contacts both with customers and Coor's own staff, such as property technicians and the customer's energy coordinators.
In this role, you will conduct energy analyses and propose energy efficiency measures in the customer's properties. You will work broadly within the entire energy field and use your creativity to find the best technical and economic solutions for the customer. The work takes place locally in various properties from Skåne to Dalarna and overall for the entire portfolio.
Your main responsibilities:
- Be responsible for collecting and analyzing energy data and suggesting measures based on deviations.
- Develop key figures and reports to present these.
- Analyze technical systems and energy-saving operational optimizations together with local operational organizations.
- Support the customer's energy coordinators with material for strategic decisions.
- Propose and act as expert support during the implementation of energy-saving measures and updates of the technical systems.
- Participate and possibly lead various energy-related networks and forums.
Who are you?
To be successful in this role, you need to be a university or civil engineer in energy and have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. We expect you to have good knowledge of the climate technical systems of properties and a broad understanding of energy, VS, and VVS. A practical background in property is an advantage.
It is important that you have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English, even though the majority of communication takes place in Swedish. We believe in a flexible work environment where you have a lot of freedom under responsibility and you manage your time between site and remote work. Since the customer is located from southern to central Sweden, travel will occur, and we prefer that you are based either in Stockholm or Västerås.
