JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a support assistant for Byggmästaregatan's LSS service housing in Hörby. Byggmästaregatan's service housing is a residence for adults with currently 10 users aged 30-65 years.

Your tasks include meeting the individual needs of the residents for support and service in all situations of daily life. You will help the residents with their personal care and assist with cooking and cleaning. All residents have different forms of activities based on their capabilities, and we appreciate creative ideas from employees. The goal is to support the residents towards greater independence and participation in society. The work is carried out with great respect for the individual's right to self-determination and integrity. The tasks require a high degree of personal responsibility, flexibility, and initiative. We have high expectations for collaboration, communication, and accountability. We always work based on the individual's needs and wishes. You should be comfortable documenting and, like us, be a team player. Working hours: Scheduled working hours with days, evenings, weekends, and sleeping night shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a calm and secure person with great patience. You should be able to work with structure and clear frameworks, but also adapt the work based on the situation and the user's needs. A large part of the work consists of motivational work that requires an understanding of the users' issues. You should have experience working within the LSS area. Approved grades from the care and nursing program, child and leisure program, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. Participating in documentation and documenting oneself is part of the assignment, so you must be able to read and write in good Swedish. Knowledge of TAKK and clarifying pedagogy according to Teacch is an advantage.
