Kooperativet Hand i Hand is a member-driven organization established in 1995 for individuals entitled to assistance. Our members are located in Skåne, Halland, southern Småland, Västra Götaland, Stockholm, and Jämtland. We have offices in Halmstad, Hässleholm, and Malmö. We support our members with everything from applying for hours with Försäkringskassan/the municipality to personnel issues regarding personal assistants. We believe that the work of a personal assistant is one of the most important jobs there is, as it provides an opportunity for another person to live their life like everyone else.

I am a lovely 26-year-old woman currently seeking more assistants for my assistance team. I live on a small farm just outside Klippan with my parents, but I dream of moving out on my own in the future.

I have severe ME and autism and am looking for someone who has a genuine commitment to working with people and sees the assignment as long-term. As my assistant, you will find joy in enhancing another person's life and thrive in a calmer work pace where the focus is on creating quality of life for the person you are working with.

Throughout the day, my energy varies, and I am sensitive to sound and light. Therefore, you need to be attentive and responsive to me and my needs.

It is important that you are not allergic to pets, as I have cats at home and meet a therapy dog every week. I love animals, and they bring a lot of joy to my life.

Experience with my diagnoses and/or personal assistance is a merit, but the most important thing is that we enjoy being together. I also wish for you to have a driver's license, be proficient in the Swedish language in both speech and writing, and be a non-smoker.

The Position:

• 40% + 4 journal days/month

The work shifts are scheduled on weekdays and every other weekend. The working hours vary, and my shifts are usually from 18:00-11:00, 18:30-23:00, 13:00-16:30, and 13:00-18:00.
