Kooperativet Hand i Hand is a member-driven organization founded in 1995 for individuals entitled to assistance. Our members are located in Skåne, Halland, southern Småland, Västra Götaland, Stockholm, and Jämtland. We have offices in Halmstad, Hässleholm, and Malmö. We support our members with everything from applying for hours with Försäkringskassan/the municipality to personnel issues concerning personal assistants. We believe that the work of a personal assistant is one of the most important jobs there is, as it provides an opportunity for another person to live their life like everyone else.

I am a cheerful, active 31-year-old girl living in central Hässleholm, and I am now looking for assistants for my team! Is it you?

As I plan to move into my own apartment, I need a few more stars in my assistance team who can help me in my daily life. I am looking for someone who has a genuine commitment to working with people and who sees the assignment as long-term.

During the day, I attend a daily activity program, and when I am free, I enjoy doing activities. I also really like swimming, and it is an activity I would love to do together with you. Therefore, you need to be comfortable being in the water. Since I like to walk shorter distances with support, you need to be in good physical shape as you will assist me with transfers. If I get tired or need to move longer distances, I use a wheelchair.

For me, clarity and structure are important, and you need to be attentive to me and my needs. I need support with most things in daily life, and I need you to help me so that I can live my life as I wish.

Experience in personal assistance, epilepsy, and autism is a plus but not a requirement. The most important thing for me is that we enjoy each other's company. Please indicate in your application which position you are interested in. For the right person, the working hours can be adjusted according to preferences.

• Hourly substitute

A driver's license is required, and I would like you to be smoke-free and have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
