Personal assistance is an initiative under LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 66-year-old man residing in Eslöv.

• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• has experience in similar work

• can support the client in communication as the client has developed aphasia after a stroke

• can motivate the client in their daily life and is proactive in doing so

It is also advantageous if you:

• can speak Bosnian or another similar language

• share the client's interests such as going for walks and visiting flea markets

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 50%. The position involves work during daytime and evening on weekdays and weekends.

The working hours are variable and can for example be from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM, from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, or from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are made according to collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
