Gotit creates IT support with the aim of simplifying and developing administration from preschool to adult education. Software such as Skolplatsen and Alvis provides schools with support for managing applications, absences, grades, and much more.

All their systems are web-based/SaaS services and are used by many users who demand user-friendly, secure, and stable systems. Gotit's largest staff group is their system developers, which consists of ten people. The team is a cheerful bunch that is both serious, goal-oriented, and led by a team leader.

Responsibilities

As a system developer at Gotit, you will work both independently and in a team with web development in various development environments and database design using modern development tools. The tasks also include testing, documentation, and quality work. You will work in a team consisting of experts in both the business's needs and our technologies. We work in the .NET stack with architectures and database design. Additionally, we like to maintain high quality in our deliveries. We work according to an agile SCRUM-based model with two-week sprints and continuous releases.

We are looking for someone who is proactive so that work can flow smoothly. The role requires flexibility and the ability to be a team player. We have a strong customer focus and always prioritize quality. It is extremely important for us that you are comfortable refactoring and improving existing code. We are looking for someone who is professional and believes that it is natural for the code you check in to maintain high quality and adhere to established principles of architecture and testability.

We also believe that you have knowledge and experience with .NET and C#, as well as SQL. We offer Visual Studio, Resharper, and Rider as working tools, so we believe you are familiar with one or all of these as well. Our tech stack consists of .NET and ASP.NET Core MVC, but work also takes place in our legacy applications written in .NET framework and ASP.NET Web Forms.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Completed post-secondary education in development

• +2 years of work experience in C#.NET and SQL

• Experience with HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and React is a plus

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
