Job Description:

At Bladins School, we take pride in our teaching and our skilled teachers. In the position of craft teacher for grades 3-9 at Bladins School, you will plan, develop, follow up, document, and evaluate the teaching. You will actively participate in our development work where we map and analyze student results and evaluate in order to lead our students towards goals based on each individual's conditions.

The position is an 80% temporary position during the spring semester of 2025.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a teacher in wood and metal crafts with authorization to teach in grades 3-9.
• A genuine interest in driving the development of your subjects forward
• Good leadership skills and the ability to create positive relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
• Experience in interdisciplinary work and a good understanding of formative approaches and cooperative learning
• High digital competence and the ability to adapt teaching to students' needs
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

Bladins School is an independent school with a long history, consisting of preschool, primary school, international school, and high school with a total of over 1600 students.

Bladins primary school is a single-parallel school where we work with large groups by grade. Each grade consists of 84 students divided into three groups. At the start of the school year for grades 1, 4, and 7, the students are mixed, and three new groups are formed. Prior to mixing, a thorough process is conducted where mentors, teaching staff, student health, and school management map students' abilities both academically and socially to create new group constellations. This contributes to increased community at the school as students have the opportunity to build positive relationships with all peers in their grade. It also develops the student's independence, ability to collaborate, and appreciation of differences. At our school, every student is seen, and we cherish our daily interactions with our students where we are clear adult role models. We work purposefully to ensure that our students develop and feel secure with several adults. The school is located in facilities at Själlandstorget in central Malmö.
