Job Advertisement: Spanish Teacher

Dalaskolan Södra is a grades 7-9 school. Approximately 140 students work here alongside around 30 adults. Today, the Dalaskolor consist of Dalaskolan Södra as a secondary school and Dalaskolan Norra as a primary and middle school. We also have the municipality's special needs students integrated with us.

We are now looking for a teacher for Spanish instruction, possibly in combination with another subject.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

• be able to lead the work in the classroom and inspire and motivate the students.
• have the ability to create good relationships with students, guardians, and staff associated with the school.
• be able to work independently and collaborate in various groups.

Mentorship/class leadership is included in the position.

We expect you, together with the other staff, to drive a student-centered operation, focusing on actively finding strategies to reach each student and strengthen them in both knowledge development and personal growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• has a teaching license for grades 6-9 with authorization to teach Spanish and possibly another subject
• is a confident leader in the classroom and works with value-based issues in everyday work.
• has good collaboration skills, can take initiative, and has a positive view of students.
• can handle challenges, actively participates in the school's development work, and has high social competence.
• is used to working formatively and language-developing and has experience with students in need of special support.
