Field of Medicine

The hospital in Enköping is a regional hospital with approximately 580 employees. We are located in a region that is expanding and has good communications to Stockholm, Uppsala, and Västerås. Our patient base consists of residents in the municipalities of Enköping, Håbo, and southern Heby, totaling about 72,000 inhabitants. The hospital also has a regional mission in certain areas with patients from all over Uppsala County.

Our Operations

Ward 1 has 24 beds focusing on cardiology, and Ward 2 has 16 beds focusing on stroke. Here, patients with many other medical diagnoses are also treated, leading to a broad competence in general medicine. We often experience a high patient flow since most patients come in acutely. Being a nurse with us is an exciting job where you meet people in many different situations with various medical diagnoses.

Your Mission

As a night nurse with us, you will rotate between Ward 1 and 2. You will work in a team alongside nursing assistants. You will work closely with patients, and as a nurse, you will participate in the care of the patient.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in cardiac care or stroke care.

Your Competence

As a person, we want you to be meticulous, responsible, and have a positive attitude. It is important that you enjoy working in a structured and efficient manner and have the ability to switch work pace when necessary. Great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities.

We Offer

We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date according to agreement.

We provide all staff working with stroke patients a distance stroke training via Umeå University – a total of 3 credits. In addition, training days with various focus areas will be held at least twice a year.
