We have BIMA places in our children's intensive care unit, and we are looking for nurses who want to make a difference for the children we care for. We work family-centered from a person-centered perspective. This means that each child is seen as an individual, and the child's guardians are important in the care process to ensure that the children feel safe. Would you like to be a part of our team? Our Operations

In the children's intensive care unit, we provide highly specialized intensive care and intermediate care for children in surgery, medicine, neurology, trauma, burns, and infections. The working method is team-based, and great importance is placed on working family-centered as the child's relatives are an important part of the care. Within the staff group, there is a high level of engagement and knowledge. We care for all children primarily aged 0-16 years. The department has new facilities adapted to the child's needs.

We are a staff group with high engagement and extensive knowledge. You will play an important role in the collaboration where different professions work together for the child's best interest. We have a close collaboration with the Academic Children's Hospital.

Your Mission

As an intermediate care nurse in BIVA, you will work together in a care team consisting of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and paramedical staff close to the sick child and their family/relatives.

Your Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse with a strong desire and interest in working with highly specialized care for sick children. If you are specialized in pediatric nursing and/or have experience caring for sick children, it is a merit but not a requirement.

Your Competence

You always put the patient first and are responsible and motivated in your work. You will become part of a skilled team that supports and helps each other while you will also work independently. As pace changes are part of everyday life in an intensive care unit, we want you to be prepared for rapid adjustments.

In the children's intensive care unit, it is important to distinguish between personal and professional. You should be willing to take initiative, be able to work independently, but also ask for help when you need it. Furthermore, we see that you remain calm and controlled under stress and have the ability to focus on the right things.
