About the Position

The position involves investigation, programming, and commissioning of industrial automation equipment. Your tasks will include developing programs for PLC and HMI for new or existing facilities and participating in commissioning. As a programmer with us, you will work broadly across the entire chain through our projects, which vary in size and character. Your task will be to develop the best solutions for each specific situation, engage in dialogue with project managers and project team members, and participate in or lead commissioning. You will become part of a highly competent team where everyone helps each other to solve tasks and develop work methods.

Who Are We Looking For?

We believe that you are currently an experienced PLC programmer/automation engineer with a genuine interest in technology who enjoys industrial challenges and wants to help create solutions in multidisciplinary projects. You have experience with Siemens PLC systems with STEP 7 Classic or TIA Portal, but possibly also other control systems. You likely have completed upper secondary education or a vocational education in electricity, machinery, or automation. Alternatively, you have acquired equivalent knowledge in your work life. We are primarily looking for someone with work experience, who is self-driven and has a commitment to develop both yourself and others - we support each other.

To succeed in the job and thrive with us, you should be responsible, able to work in a structured manner, and create relationships with both colleagues and customers. You should have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A valid driver's license (B) is required.

Good to Know

• Location: Trollhättan. There is a competent team of about 40 colleagues, including project managers, electrical designers, automation engineers, programmers, and electricians.
• The position is a permanent employment with a start date according to agreement.
• Working hours are daytime - there is an opportunity for flexible hours and reduced working hours.
• In agreement with your immediate supervisor, there is some possibility for remote work.
• Business trips may occur.
