Bra Assistans in Örebro AB provides personal assistance to individuals with disabilities according to the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS) and the Social Insurance Code and the Social Services Act (SoL).

We are looking for someone interested in working as a personal assistant to a man in his 30s with a severe mental developmental disability as a result of a congenital brain injury.

It is a great advantage if you have experience in the field of personal assistance. The work may include everything from care, personal hygiene, transfers, cooking, household chores, assistance with leisure activities, etc. You help with everyday tasks together with the individual, such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, walking, crafting, etc. You must also be able to adapt to the individual's own pace, which varies from day to day.

Some shifts are double-staffed, meaning two assistants work together to ensure the quality and safety of the service

The workplace is in the individual's home wherever the individual is located.

The working hours are during the day and evening, both weekdays and weekends. We also appreciate if you can work on short notice when needed, due to illness or similar.

We prefer that you, as a candidate, have a flexible and independent way of working and can easily adapt to new situations. You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have good skills in documentation and a professional approach.
