Job Responsibilities

The work consists of recruiting and investigating foster homes and contact families/persons for children and youth contractors. The work also includes being responsible for the follow-up of foster homes and guiding and supporting them in their tasks in close collaboration with the child's/youth's social worker and partners. Furthermore, the position includes handling financial calculations of compensation to foster homes and establishing agreements between the board and the foster homes.

The position involves travel, sometimes long-distance.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or equivalent qualifications and knowledge in system- and network-oriented work as well as BBIC. You should have experience in social work within individual and family care. The ability to maintain structure is a prerequisite for fulfilling the assignment.

Previous experience in handling foster homes and supervisor training is an advantage. It is expected that you are engaged in your area of responsibility and interested in method and operational development. We expect you to be an empathetic and secure person with good personal maturity and collaboration skills who can work independently as well as together with colleagues and contribute to a good work climate. You should have a good ability for reflection and analysis and be able to motivate and make decisions. The work requires a good ability to express oneself well in both speech and writing as the work contains requirements for legally secure handling.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.
