At International Färg's modern factory in Gunnilse outside Gothenburg, we manufacture surface protection paints for bridges, wind turbines, sports arenas, and more under the brand name International. We are world leaders in protective paints. Since 1998, International Färg has been part of the AkzoNobel Group. The facility also houses sales and marketing offices for our three business areas: Marine & Protective, Yacht, and Powder Coatings in the Nordic region. We are about 150 proud employees representing a large number of different nationalities, working together to make our world a little more colorful.

We are now looking for summer substitutes for our production facility to cover for our regular staff during the summer months of June - August. Most of our available positions are in production and warehousing, but we also have positions in QC and administration. What will you be working with?

Production

Our greatest need for summer substitutes is in our production. Here you will work 2 shifts Monday-Friday (day shift 06-14.42, Fridays 06-12.42 & evening shift 14-22.30, Fridays 12-17.30) with tasks including mixing and bottling paint. You will monitor the machines and take action when necessary. If you work in the warehouse, you will operate a forklift, pick orders, and pack goods. As a person, you should be practical, enjoy working physically, and like teamwork, but also be able to take the initiative to solve problems.

Warehouse & Service

If you work in the warehouse, you will operate a forklift, pick orders, and pack goods. Service work includes forklift driving, printing labels, cleaning containers, and weighing powders and liquids according to recipes. Warehouse work is done during the day, while service work can occur both during the day and in shifts.

As a person, you should be practical, enjoy working physically, and like teamwork, but also be able to take the initiative to solve problems.

Laboratory Services

For our laboratory services, we are looking for someone who has started a university or college education in areas such as chemistry or chemical and process engineering. Here we check our products and perform various types of tests to ensure the quality of what we manufacture. We value personal qualities such as accuracy, teamwork ability, independence, and flexibility.

Customer Service/Administration

The administrative tasks include order processing and customer service. The work is primarily scheduled during the day. These positions require good communication skills and a high level of service. Experience in similar tasks and knowledge of SAP is an advantage. We prefer candidates who have started university or college studies, for example, in industrial economics and have a couple of years left to study.

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• You must have at least a high school diploma, preferably with a natural or technical focus.
• You need to be available for work between June - August. There is no possibility for leave during the summer substitute period.
• You must be over 18 years old to work with us.

Additional Information

The positions are summer substitutes from the beginning of June to the end of August. It is important that you can be available for the entire work period. All positions are located at our site in Gunnilse. Some mandatory introduction and training will take place before the summer. As part of our commitment to a drug-free workplace, we drug test all new hires regardless of position.
