About the role

We are looking for a driven Master Data specialist with experience in SAP for our client in the Lund area. In this position, you will support a global Master Data team with processes related to purchased components. This is an opportunity to work for a well-established company with an international presence. The position is a consultancy assignment expected to last at least one year with a high chance of extension.

You will handle inquiries through a global tool and create material masters in SAP according to established criteria. The role also involves classifying materials according to the correct UNSPSC class and supplementing with information such as dimensions, capacity, voltage, frequency, and weight.

To succeed in the role, high accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to search for and interpret technical information are required. You will work on gathering information from datasheets, websites, and when necessary, through contact with suppliers.

Technical skills

- Good technical understanding of components within the industry

- Experience working with Master Data Management

- Practical experience with global business systems

- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package

- Experience with SAP is advantageous
