Kungälv Hospital is looking for medical students who want to work in patient-centered care during the summer of 2025. About the Job

Working as a medical student in patient-centered care means being involved in planning, decision-making, and implementation of care measures throughout the patient's care time in the department.

Examples of tasks are listed below, with variations based on each unit's needs:

• Conversations and care of patients, such as admission interviews and care status
• Care planning and documentation of care work
• Participate in preparing, administering, and providing medication
• Sampling, central venous catheter control, as well as inserting central venous catheters and catheters
• Participate in rounds
• Contact with relatives
• Care summaries

Qualifications

You are a medical student who will have completed at least term 9 by the summer of 2025. Previous experience working as a nursing assistant or caregiver is advantageous.

You have knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 in both speech and writing.

As a person, you are caring, responsible, and meticulous. You find it easy to be flexible and work in an environment with a wide variety of tasks at a fast pace. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Other

This position involves day and evening shifts as well as weekends throughout the summer.
