The Dagson Health Center is located in central Uddevalla within walking distance to both the bus and train station.

We are a well-functioning unit with over 11,700 registered patients and 40 dedicated employees at the health center. The staff group has good cooperation and everyone is involved in the development of the health center. About the job

Your tasks at the health center span a wide field and cover the general medical area where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work health-promoting, advisory, and treating in first-line care, both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.

The work takes place through both acute and planned activities. You work largely independently with your own clinic for diabetes patients, where you triage, treat, and follow up on patients. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues at the unit and transprofessionally in the team, but also together with other actors such as home care and other specialist care. Together with the health center management, you are responsible for developing and driving the operation forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, therefore, supervision of students is also included as part of your role at the health center.

About you

You are a licensed nurse with specialist training as a district nurse. You have additional training in diabetes of at least 15 higher education credits. Previous experience as a diabetes nurse and/or from work in primary care is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making their own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize among your tasks.

In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you enjoy teamwork and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing and are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and visits to the clinic. We would also like you to have an interest in digitalization and business development. We also see that you live up to Närhälsan's core values Reliable, Caring, and Innovative.

About the recruitment process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
