About Us

Närhälsan Bjurslätt Health Center is a well-established clinic located in central Hisingen, Gothenburg, with approximately 9,000 registered patients.

Together, we have built a well-functioning operation with good finances and high patient satisfaction. The health center is well-staffed and has six employed specialists in general medicine. We focus on accessibility and continuity, and in the latest national patient survey, we were ranked fifth in the entire Västra Götaland region. We are an engaged staff group with a good atmosphere who enjoy working together.

About the Job

Your tasks at the health center cover a broad field and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work independently and variably with outpatient care. Guidance is provided by an experienced specialist who offers support and knowledge exchange. We offer you a varied job with good development opportunities. About You

You are a licensed physician authorized to practice within Swedish healthcare and have an interest in primary care and completing a residency in general medicine. You possess language skills in Swedish at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

We are looking for someone who is attentive and has a good demeanor since you will meet many different patients at the health center. You thrive in teamwork, and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in your work.

Interviews are conducted continuously at the health center.

The position is a temporary contract for 6 months, with a possibility of extension and residency training.

For those who have trained as physicians abroad and have not completed the foundation year in Sweden to obtain a medical license, the new regulations regarding Foundation Training from July 1, 2021, apply. Foundation Training for physicians (BT) is a mandatory introductory part of the specialization training in the new regulation ST-2021 (HSLF-FS 2021:8). This means that you need to complete BT before or as an introductory part of your residency.
