Närhälsan Tuve Health Center is a well-established health center in Hisingen with approximately 10,600 registered patients.

Our goal is to be the obvious workplace for you who have a strong commitment and want to help change Swedish primary care for real.

We have general practitioners, ST and AT doctors, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, psychologists, and social workers. About the job

Your main tasks consist of assessing and treating mental and behavioral health issues based on the primary care mission. The focus is on preventive and early interventions, based on common reasons for seeking care at a health center. You will work based on the needs of the registered population, primarily through physical individual visits and digital care meetings. There is also an opportunity to work with internet and group therapy if this is of interest.

In the past year, we have implemented Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) at the health center. This means that the work includes high accessibility, stepwise care, and collaboration with other professionals and healthcare neighbors. To meet the needs of the entire patient population, a capacity to vary methods and the scope of treatment interventions is required. It is important that you have an interest in working based on the principles of IBH.

You and your colleagues are jointly responsible with the head of the health center for the development of the health center in a continuously ongoing improvement process. Supervision of psychology candidates or PTP psychologists may be relevant.

About you

You are a licensed psychologist with CBT level 1 competence; other specializations may also be relevant. It is an advantage if you have experience in the following:

• Work as a psychologist at the primary care level
• Integrated behavioral health (IBH)
• Stepwise care
• Internet-based psychological treatment
• Group therapy

We are looking for someone who takes initiative and actively wants to participate in the development work of the organization. We hope you will participate in the daily interdisciplinary collaboration at the health center and contribute as a consultative resource to other professions. In your work, you will meet many different patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a good approach.

About the recruitment process

The selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call candidates for a phone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them for an interview at the health center.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that the answers to the questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the outcome was.
