JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a licensed physiotherapist who wants to apply their knowledge in the area of functional support. You will be welcomed to a pleasant workplace, where you meet a manager and colleagues who care about creating a good working environment and having fun at work!

We work with individuals aged 18-65 who have a congenital or acquired disability and who live in supported accommodation with special assistance and services. Many of them also have daily activities in day services. Geographically, we operate from the health and medical care unit on Förstamajgatan. We have nice newly renovated premises where we work together with our team right next to Kortedala square, with a wide range of food and restaurants as well as good public transport connections. In the team, you have several occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses who work towards the same accommodations and daily activities as you. This means close and strong collegial support and collaboration where we encourage doing things together. Together with the team, there is an opportunity for a creative, solution-oriented approach to make a difference for our patients.

We offer you an independent job where you have the opportunity to plan your workday and have close colleagues to consult with when needed. As a physiotherapist, you will make assessments, treatments, and evaluations. Together with the patient, you will work according to the patient's person-centered goals with interventions aimed at providing the greatest possible independence for the individual. The work also includes supervising support staff, performing and delegating rehabilitation efforts, as well as prescribing, testing, and following up on medical technical aids.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist. It is advantageous if you have experience working with the target group of patients with disabilities. You have a B driver's license and driving experience to be able to travel between your patients. Since the work as a physiotherapist with us is independent, you have the ability to make decisions within the framework of your assignment or consult with your colleagues to move forward. You take responsibility for your own and the shared tasks with the patient's best interests in focus. You are keen to complete what you have started and ensure that the work is done correctly.

You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You start from everyone's equal value and create a good atmosphere in the meeting. You have an open and positive attitude and have the patient's needs as the starting point for your actions. You have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals.
