About the school area

Toftaskolan is located in Munka-Ljungby in Ängelholm municipality. The school has over 850 students from F-9 and over 100 educators. Toftaskolan is part of the Munka-Ljungby school area, led by a team of three principals and an assistant principal. The school area consists of Toftaskolan F-9 with associated leisure home, Össjö school F-6 with associated leisure home, and Tåssjö camp school. We have a student view characterized by the belief that everyone can with the right conditions. We believe in our students and their drive, curiosity, and motivation.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an engaged textile teacher for teaching in grades 4-9. In this role, you will plan, implement, and evaluate lessons that inspire and challenge students to develop both their technical skills and creative ability in textile crafts. You will belong to the work team 7-9, and the position includes shared mentorship for a grade 9 class. You will also have colleagues in the crafts subject to collaborate with. The position is currently temporary, but there are good opportunities for extension.

Qualifications

We are looking for a qualified teacher, preferably with a few years of experience. Your experience has given you a good understanding of what it takes to succeed in this type of position. For us, your personality and qualities are important. We value that you are flexible, curious, and proactive, especially as we work agilely within Ängelholm municipality. You have a professional and friendly approach in all your contacts and communicate fluently in Swedish in speech and writing. If you also master more languages, we see it as an asset. Being comfortable with the computer as a work tool is a given. The position's scope is 80-100%.
