Kullagymnasiet is centrally located in Höganäs, close to both the sea, the city, and transportation. There are large green areas around the school, which has largely preserved its period appearance from the 1960s when the original building was erected. However, there is now a decision to build a new high school that will be completed in a few years.

Kullagymnasiet has five national programs: Electrical and Energy Program (EE), Sales and Service Program (FS), Natural Science Program (NA), Social Science Program (SA), and Technology Program (TE). Kullagymnasiet also has three introductory programs: Program-oriented choice, Individual alternative, and Language introduction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a school librarian at Kulla Gymnasium, you will work closely with teachers and other educational staff to strengthen students' general learning and, more specifically, their interest in reading, search skills, and source criticism. Based on your specific library expertise, you will participate in the pedagogical activities at the school. You will have a close and active collaboration with the school's educators in the work with the school as a whole. As a school librarian, you will be responsible for keeping the library's media collection organized and up to date.

Together with the school management, you will develop and follow up on an action plan for the school library as part of the school's systematic quality work.

You who are applying for the position have an academic degree in library and information science or another academic education that is relevant to the position. It is meritorious if you have previous relevant work experience.
