Payroll Administrator at the Maritime Administration in Norrköping

We at Dreamwork are now looking for a dedicated and experienced payroll administrator for an exciting consultancy assignment at the Maritime Administration in Norrköping.

  • Scope: full-time, 100%
  • Start: no later than 2025-02-10 (preferably earlier if possible)
  • Duration: 6 months, with a good possibility of extension.

You will be employed by us at Dreamwork but will work on-site at the office in Norrköping. For the first month, you will be on-site 100%, then there will be the opportunity to work remotely 1-2 days a week if the work allows.

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced payroll administrator. As a payroll administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the correct and efficient handling of payroll administration for all employees. You will work closely with the group leader and colleagues in the payroll office to administer salary payments, reporting, and support for employees. Your role includes handling salary-related issues, expenses, advances, and system administration.

The assignment includes work on the entire payroll process up to the payroll run (e.g., travel expenses, corrections, driving logs, various leaves, benefits, certificates, and controls).

Your Main Responsibilities

In this position, the following (but not exclusively) tasks may occur;

  • Process and verify payroll data
  • Prepare payroll lists
  • Generate reports and statistics
  • Account for taxes and employer contributions
  • Compile time and absence reports
  • Respond to employee inquiries (e.g., about salary and vacation leave)
  • Make calculations and corrections
  • Daily management and supervision of operations.

Who Are You?

To be considered for the role, you need to have:

  • Vocational education in payroll or similar
  • At least three (3) years of work experience as a payroll administrator
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Good knowledge of payroll systems
  • Good knowledge of financial systems
  • Good knowledge of collective agreements
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing

It is a plus if you have experience with the Personec P payroll system.
