Teacher in Violin and Ensemble at Gothenburg School of Culture
At Gothenburg School of Culture, we are now looking for a teacher in violin and ensemble for a temporary position at 80% until 2025-06-18. As a teacher, you will instruct children and youth in violin both individually and in groups, as well as work interdisciplinary with ensembles and projects. You will also participate in performances and other cultural events.
Job Responsibilities:
- Instruct groups in the afternoons and evenings
- Work with open activities and collaborations
- Plan and carry out performances
- Engage in activities across subject boundaries
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with a pedagogical and artistic university education in violin. Previous experience in teaching children and youth, as well as knowledge of IT for music programs, is advantageous. You should have an understanding of the different conditions of children and youth and be flexible in your teaching approach.
