JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the preschool's activities, you meet children aged 1-6 years and are part of their everyday life, helping to contribute to their safety and development. Your tasks in school, adapted primary school, and leisure activities may involve leading various classes, working in the after-school program, or being a resource in the class or group. Working as a substitute gives you broad experience from different activities.

Preschool

The preschool is for children aged 1 to 6 years. The preschool should provide the foundation for lifelong learning and offer children a good educational activity. In collaboration with homes, we will develop children into individuals who feel responsible and are good citizens. Children should have a safe environment that also challenges and invites play and activity. It should inspire children to explore the world around them.

School and After-School Program

The school's mission is to promote learning where the individual is encouraged to acquire and develop knowledge and values. In collaboration with homes, we will promote students' development into active, creative, competent, and responsible individuals and citizens.

The teaching in the after-school program should stimulate students' development and learning and offer them a meaningful leisure time. The teaching should be based on the students' needs, interests, and experiences, and students should also be inspired to new discoveries. In Mark, after-school programs are integrated into schools and are part of the school's activities.

Adapted Primary School:

Adapted primary school is an opportunity for students who are not assessed to be able to meet the knowledge requirements of primary school due to an intellectual disability. The education should be adapted to the student's needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

We require that you:

  • are at least 18 years old
  • are engaged in your work and can build relationships with others
  • are secure and empathetic
  • have the ability to be flexible, able to work in different activities and at different times
  • have a good ability to collaborate and good judgment
  • have the ability to take responsibility and can work independently
  • are comfortable using computers and mobile devices
  • have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing

It is advantageous if you have:

  • a 3-year upper secondary school program in child and leisure education or another education deemed equivalent by the employer
  • experience from working in preschool, after-school programs, and schools
  • a B driver's license

We place great importance on personal suitability, which means that even if you do not have previous experience/education, you are welcome to apply!

To obtain employment, you must be able to present a criminal record extract from the police.
