The Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's childcare and educational activities from preschool and leisure to preschool class, elementary school, adapted school, upper secondary school, adult education, and various commissioned training programs. Our vision is that every student leaves school rich in knowledge and convinced of their ability to create their future together with others. All students should also remember their school time as safe, fun, and educational. The various activities of the Education Administration have a clear common focus on all children's and students' conditions for completing their studies.
Anneberg Preschool is located in the Skulltorp area, an area with a wonderful mix of languages and cultures. The preschool consists of five departments and works with the children divided into groups of younger and older children. Here you will work alongside engaged colleagues who focus on children, learning, and development. The preschool's activities are characterized by commitment, safety, and warmth. Exploratory and joyful learning is given ample space in everyday life. The preschool's organization also includes a pedagogista/developmental educator who works to continuously guide and support based on the needs of the work teams and the activities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now looking for someone with a clear focus on the mission and who is passionate about creating good conditions for learning at Anneberg Preschool. As an educator at our preschool, you will be responsible for creating good pedagogical learning environments that provide great opportunities for children's influence and participation. We harness children's creativity and work as co-researching educators with relational learning as a starting point. As an educator, we want you to be curious about and take responsibility for developing in your professional role together with children, families, colleagues, and the organization.
In your work with us, you will have the opportunity to drive development processes forward with your colleagues towards our common goals and organizational ideas. We have established structures for pedagogical development and collegial learning for all educators driven by our developmental educator and principal. As a preschool teacher, we hope that you will contribute to creating a qualitative education for our children based on relational learning through systematics, innovation, reflection, documentation, and commitment.
The preschool is a democratic meeting place, and we cherish values such as diversity, listening, and participation. We work to ensure that the preschool is a place for shared learning, co-creation of knowledge, culture, and identity. The educator's task is to listen to children's experiences, thoughts, and ideas and, based on this, conduct teaching where the preschool's goals are in focus to further challenge the children.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are now looking for one or two licensed preschool teachers who have previous experience in the preschool teacher role. We consider it an advantage if you have experience or interest in working on projects based on the hundred languages and with Reggio Emilia's pedagogical philosophy as a starting point. We want you to have a clear focus on the mission and a good ability to lead both children and colleagues.
In addition to the above, we want:
- You are curious, engaged, and have good collaboration skills.
- You are flexible with good communication skills and drive both the preschool's and your own development forward based on our goals and guidelines.
- You have a clear focus on children's learning and start from a belief in the competent child when planning education.
- You have knowledge of and experience working with systematic quality work as a foundation and have the ability to translate theory into practice.
- You are aware of the importance of pedagogical documentation and are well acquainted with digital tools.
- You see reflection in pedagogical leadership as a necessity.
- You are active in developing a stimulating, joyful, and creative learning environment and have methods and strategies to see and meet the individual child's need for challenge.
- You have good knowledge and experience working with AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication).
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
