Job Description

Sjöviks Preschool is one of the two privately owned preschools in Finspång, with 44 children distributed among three departments.

Our popular preschool is located in an area with forests and various waterways as its closest neighbors. We take advantage of this, of course! We have a large and scenic yard. Together, we create environments both indoors and outdoors that stimulate children's creativity and innovative abilities, allowing their imagination and interests to have free rein. We are a great team with a strong and genuine commitment to outdoor education and close collaboration with parents.

The foundation of outdoor education is experiential learning with all the senses. Working at an I Ur och Skur preschool is a varied and flexible job where we educators are co-discoverers and co-participating educators. Sometimes education and learning take place in the yard, in the forest, by the water, or indoors, making the work exciting and challenging.

The preschool has its own chef who provides homemade meals every day. We eat both indoors and outdoors in our yard, and at other times in the forest.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained childcare worker, has a genuine interest in outdoor life, and a great interest in working with children.

As a person, you are good at collaborating, attentive, positive, independent, and accustomed to carrying out educational documentation. You enjoy being outdoors in all kinds of weather and see no obstacles but focus on the possibilities.
