Description

The administration has about 1000 employees.

The finance and administrative function currently consists of 8 employees, four of whom are in the finance function. The function is led by the Chief Financial Officer. We are currently located in modern activity-based premises in the Region's House in Skövde and the Region's House in Gothenburg. This means you have the option to choose either of these locations as your base. We can offer you a very varied and stimulating job with opportunities for development. You will have friendly colleagues and the opportunity for collegial support and internal learning from a financial perspective.

Responsibilities

You will work to provide professional support to the operations together with your colleagues. With us, you will have the opportunity to work broadly within finance in a large organization while contributing to the development of working methods and new methods. You will have many contacts and work closely with the managers you support. You will also have the opportunity to participate in regional working groups.

Your main areas of responsibility are:

• Support managers with a focus on financial and operational follow-up
• Plan and lead budget and forecasting work
• Reporting and analytical work
• Conduct training initiatives in the financial area

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree in finance or other education that the employer deems equivalent and several years of experience in qualified financial work. Experience in supporting managers in financial matters, preferably within public administration, and experience in accounting is an advantage.

In your role as a controller, you will make a difference for healthcare and society by proactively supporting the administration's operations and contributing to their focus on core activities.

To provide the support that the operations need, you must have:

• Interest in the operations and its development
• Analytical ability
• Service-oriented and flexible, and enjoy working together with others
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work with a high degree of independence
• Experience in supporting managers in financial matters, preferably within public administration
• Be pedagogical and communicative

Meritorious

• Experience of several years working with accounting
