We are looking for

Someone who wants to work with internal control/internal law with us at the bank.

We have recently updated our business-supporting organization and, among other things, formed a new department where we have gathered our work with internal control and risk management and created a new role that will be responsible for our internal control work.

You will work with our risk management focusing on legal and operational risks as well as the bank's internal controls and regulations. You will work closely with your colleagues in the department, which consists of a security manager, responsible for IT and information security, AML and KYC specialists, and the Head of Internal Control.

The role includes, among other things:

• Coordinating the bank's internal regulations and being responsible for policies and instructions and other governing documents within internal control and risk management (such as outsourcing, complaint handling, and personal data processing)
• Drafting, reviewing, and following up on contracts and suppliers
• Assisting in the interpretation and application of external regulations relevant to the bank
• Being responsible for the bank's processes, routines, and systems for internal control
• Conducting management reviews of the board and assisting in legal matters related to the bank's governance
• Being responsible for coordinating and following up on the bank's process for new products and services
• Being responsible for complaints
• Handling and administering the bank's existing insurance coverage
• Following up on the bank's legal and operational risks where the bank's outsourced IT operations constitute a significant part

We are looking for someone who has/is:

• A law degree or other relevant education and work experience for the position
• Proactive and responsible with a high degree of self-leadership
• Skilled in expressing yourself both verbally and in writing and has good pedagogical abilities
• Quality-conscious and has a structured way of working
• Good collaborative skills

The position is a permanent position at 100%. Start date by agreement. Location Skara.
