Your Role

As an engineer at Saab, you and your team will be involved throughout the product lifecycle and be an important piece of our journey towards the next generation of defense systems.

Our creative and innovative teams in mechanics are waiting for you to explore and develop the latest technology together. As a mechanical engineer with us, you will collaborate not only with your immediate colleagues but also with project managers, other development teams, suppliers, and customers.

Your Profile

To thrive with us, you believe in a culture of complete transparency, trust, and you are open to developing both within and outside your areas of expertise. We place great importance on your personal qualities combined with the belief that you have some of the following experiences.

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering or technical physics, or have an education/experience deemed equivalent
• Several years of experience working with mechanical design
• Proficient in CAD and likely have experience with Siemens NX, Creo, Solidworks, and/or CATIA
• Experience in systems engineering may be advantageous

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security placement, there may, in some cases, be requirements for certain citizenship.
