Your Role

The role involves team leadership within the section Computer Platforms for Simulators, responsible for the development, operation, and management of the computer platforms for Gripen's development simulators at Saab Aeronautics in Linköping.

As a team leader, you will lead a team primarily consisting of system administrators. The team leader conducts daily kanban meetings and ensures that there are tasks ("jiras") to work on. This requires close collaboration with other sections within the Development Simulator as well as close cooperation with technical leaders, project managers, and the section head.

The team consists of a skilled group with good cohesion. The team has knowledge in areas such as hardware, operating systems (mainly Linux and Solaris), networks, configuration management, real-time systems, and information security.

The position may potentially be combined with work in business development, system administration, or IT security.

Your Profile

We believe you have several years of work experience in system administration or software development and have a relevant university degree. Knowledge in IT security is a plus.

You may have tried leadership in previous roles, but what matters is that you are interested in leading. You are engaged, structured, driven, and self-motivated. You have a positive attitude towards solving challenging problems and changing conditions and are not afraid to lead others. You enjoy communicating with your surroundings and building good relationships. An interest in business development is also a plus.
