System Administrator with a Focus on Windows Environments

Your Role

We are looking for a System Administrator with a focus on Windows environments. You will play a crucial role in the development and operation of our training system - a solution used in complex and security-critical environments. You will work on everything from administration and configuration to upgrading the system, and your expertise in Windows will be well utilized as many of our applications are Windows-based and integrate with a platform built on both Windows and Linux.

You will be part of an experienced team of system administrators and involved in the entire lifecycle - from concept studies and requirements work to design, implementation, deployment, and management. It is a role where you can combine technical depth with practical work and where you continuously develop through new challenges and collaborations.

In this role, you will:

• Administer, configure, and upgrade our training system.
• Work with Windows-based applications that integrate with Linux/Windows platforms.
• Participate in the entire lifecycle of the system - from early concept studies to ongoing operations and further development.
• Collaborate closely with other system administrators, developers, and project managers.
• Contribute to ensuring that our solutions meet high standards for quality and security.
• Document and follow up on technical solutions according to our processes.

Your Profile

A technology-interested problem solver with an analytical and methodical approach. You are responsible, meticulous, and structured - particularly important in our security-focused environments. You have the ability to work both independently and in teams, and you enjoy being involved in the entire development chain. Your communication skills allow you to easily share knowledge and collaborate across team boundaries, whether internally or with customers. You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

You can either be an experienced system administrator or IT operations technician, or you are at the beginning of your career but with a strong technical foundation in Windows environments. We tailor the introduction and responsibilities according to your background.

We believe you have experience in:

• Windows Server and client operating systems.
• Working with Windows-based systems and services in larger environments.
• Building Windows installation media.
• Network solutions, such as IP planning and configuration.
• IT security and working in environments with high security requirements.

It is a plus if you have worked with any virtualization technology, such as VMware.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
