Criminal Care is Hiring Service Manager in IT

Criminal Care is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, detention centers, and client transport.

The Datacenter group is a team consisting of a stable core of IT technicians, service managers, and Technical Architects. We are responsible for Criminal Care's server solutions, virtualization, and related systems. Criminal Care is undergoing significant expansion, and we need to plan for an environment that meets both today's and tomorrow's requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a service manager, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and refinement of our service offerings within servers, ensuring that they function smoothly and efficiently for our users. You will work closely with other team members and external suppliers to ensure that the system meets our requirements and needs. The position also includes collaborating with other service managers and technical architects in the area.

QUALIFICATIONS

In the role of service manager, you take responsibility for your tasks by structuring and driving your processes forward. You analyze and break down problems into their components and solve complex issues. You work towards goals and focus on results, with the ability to change direction when goals change. As a person, you are calm, stable, and controlled in pressured situations and work well with others by being attentive and communicative.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed high school education in the form of a diploma or high school exam or experience deemed relevant by Criminal Care
• Experience working as a system manager/service manager
• Experience working with server infrastructure and virtualization
• Several years of experience in leadership, e.g., managerial positions or project management
• Experience in developing and following up budgets
• Experience working in large IT environments
• Experience coordinating technicians
• Very good knowledge of servers and storage
• Good knowledge of IT security
• Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish
• Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in English

It is advantageous if you have:

• Certifications in relevant technology and system administration
• Experience in managing and leading assignments
• Experience leading and collaborating with IT suppliers
• Experience working in Criminal Care
• Experience with ITIL and PM3

OTHER

We have high demands on our employees' security and confidentiality awareness. To work with us, you need to undergo a security review in accordance with the Security Protection Act. The position is classified in a security class, and a security review including a security interview with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made. During the security review, you will be investigated as a person, your background, and your relationships from a security perspective.
