Your Role as a Junior Safety Engineer in the Talent Program

As an employee at Combitech and a participant in the program, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting assignments where we help develop technical systems for our clients. You will alternate this with courses in technology related to your assignment and your ambitions and goals.

Our unique development program, created in close collaboration with our clients, provides you with a unique and individually tailored rocket start to your career! In the program, you will alternate consulting assignments with courses in technology, collaboration, and personal leadership. Together with your colleagues, you will have the opportunity to develop deeply within your technical area and learn more about other technical fields to broaden your knowledge.

We offer you the chance to work with safety/risk management for various types of military technical systems (i.e., system/product safety and not to be confused with information security/IT security, security).

In this role, you are crucial in ensuring that safety is considered in the development of military technical systems. You will work with cutting-edge technology, and together with clients and colleagues, you will participate in the planning and execution of the safety process to ensure that established safety requirements are met. This includes identifying, analyzing, and minimizing the risks of a technical system through risk analyses to prevent potential accidents causing harm to people, property, and the environment.

The analyses encompass the entire lifecycle of the system, including its hardware, software, and interaction with users and other external systems, and are conducted in close collaboration with designers, developers, and users. You will be involved in the process from the development of a system until it is approved for use.

Who Are You

You have recently graduated or will graduate in the spring of 2025 as a civil engineer in the field. To thrive and develop with us, we prefer that you are a structured and pedagogical person who contributes with your ability to organize, analyze, and present information in a simple, clear, and understandable way for different target groups. You are social and communicative, contributing to a positive work environment, and you find it easy to collaborate in both small and large projects and teams.

You have a strong interest in technology, driven by a desire to understand yourself and your surroundings even better, and you feel a natural energy and curiosity towards new tasks and challenges. You see it as important and positive to have the opportunity to develop sustainable and safe solutions for a resilient future society.
