Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a woman in her 40s, residing in Linköping
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• has experience with low-arousal responses
• has experience with NPF
• is comfortable around dogs

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work
• share the client's interests, which include NärCON, HBTQIA+ issues, dogs, creativity, music, and a strong interest in the spiritual.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer substitute and is approximately 88%. The job involves working during daytime and evening hours on weekdays and weekends between 08:00-18:00 (mixed hours).

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a background check from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you will need to present an extract from the police record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
