I am a 19-year-old guy who wants to be where things are happening, and I am now looking for you who want to work 50% with me during this spring. From when I graduate in June, the position will be 100%.

The workplace is wherever I am, which can mean at my home or at various places around the home where I am.

My interests include playing video games, music, bowling, woodworking, and watching cool machines. You need to assist me when I want to help out when the family is outside in the garden and performing various gardening tasks, so it’s a big plus if you, who are applying for the position, like that too. I enjoy being outside in all kinds of weather.

I live with my family and our dog in a villa in Linköping.

As a personal assistant at my home, you will help with tasks such as dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, transfers, and being my extended arm to assist where my disability sets limits. Your role also includes planning and structuring my daily life together with me to help me become as independent as possible. You will also need to manage medications, and it is important to have constant attention to my general condition as I also have diabetes.

Travel may occur as my family also has a house in Gotland, where I enjoy being.

I am looking for someone who:

• Can tolerate pets, as we have a dog in the family
• Has good physical fitness, as transfers are part of the job responsibilities
• Is passionate about their work and wants to make a difference for another person
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has experience working as a personal assistant, preferably with young people!
• Sees this work as a long-term commitment
• Has a strong engagement for their work
• Can accompany on trips, e.g., to Gotland
• It’s a big plus if you also have experience with diabetes; if not, we will train you.

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships and take significant responsibility. It is important for our client’s parents to feel secure when you are taking care of their youth. Therefore, it is advantageous if you have experience working with children, adolescents, or in healthcare. We also consider it advantageous if you have experience with low-arousal approaches.

Working hours/Duration: Weekdays from about 15:00-21:30 and on weekends the working hours are 08:00-20:00. In the summer, the working hours are 08:00-20:00 every day, and then the position will be 100%.

Salary: Fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other compensations according to collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately with introduction.

Employment conditions: 50% from now until 250615, then 100% from 250616.
