We are currently looking for an engaged, structured, and driven mentor colleague to join us in daily operations.

The position involves a shared role where part of your time will be spent working at Mårdvägen day activity and the rest as an operational resource across all units.

Your future tasks

The Mårdvägen operations place a strong focus on social community and breaking isolation, primarily targeting individuals with mental disabilities under decisions according to SoL, but also individuals with neuropsychiatric and/or intellectual disabilities under decisions according to LSS.

In your role as a mentor, you need to be empathetic, attentive, and observant while also being flexible and able to shift focus, take initiative, and make independent decisions. At Mårdvägen, you will be part of a small workgroup where you work closely together, and good collaboration is essential for the quality and development of the operations.

Currently, there are 8 internal operations in Finspång municipality. The role of operational resource means that you will serve in various operations based on needs. This position therefore requires a high degree of flexibility and teamwork skills.

Documentation is done according to current routines where the implementation plan is a living document in all our operations.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with basic education in the care program focusing on support for individuals with disabilities or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.

Additionally, we wish that you have:

  • Knowledge of legislation regarding LSS and SoL
  • Experience working with individuals with mental, neuropsychiatric, and/or intellectual disabilities
  • Good knowledge and experience of low-arousal approaches
  • Knowledge and experience of working with clear pedagogical methods
  • A valid driver's license, comfortable driving a minibus with multiple passengers

Competence/experience in a salutogenic approach and knowledge of sign language or signs as support will also be considered an advantage.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Start date as soon as possible or according to agreement.
