Substitute Positions at Vreta Education Center's Leisure and Boarding Activities

Region Östergötland operates three schools, which are gathered in a unit under the Regional Development Committee.

Vreta Education Center is located just outside Linköping, Himmelstalund Education Center is situated in Norrköping, and Lunnevads Folk High School is located between Vikingstad and Mantorp. At Vreta Education Center, the Agricultural Program's specializations in farming, horse management, and forestry are offered, as well as the Transport Program's transport specialization. National Sports Education (NIU) is offered in equestrian sports (dressage or jumping). Vocational adult education and higher vocational education are available in agriculture, horse management, and forestry. The adapted upper secondary school offers the national program in Forest, Land, and Animals.

Job Description

Vreta Education Center's Leisure and Boarding Activities is looking for substitutes who are engaged and have a genuine interest in working with the youth residing at the school. We are looking for someone who can step in during sickness and holidays to lead activities and support students in their daily lives.

Work Group

Working hours are scheduled in the evening from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, but there may also be a need for substitutes during the night as we provide students with awake staff at night.

There are five leisure leaders with whom you will be able to collaborate, cooperate, and carry out leisure activities.

About You

It is important to be relationship-building, secure, solution-focused, and cooperative. There are fixed activities such as riding, gym, workshop, youth center, homework help, and activities in the sports hall that the leisure leaders organize and where you will be a part of. We also offer activities based on the students' wishes, and we would love for you to come up with your own suggestions for activities.
