I am a 19-year-old guy who wants to be where things happen, and I am now looking for you who want to work extra with me when my regular assistants are sick or on vacation.

The workplace is wherever I am, which can mean at my home or at various places around the home where I am.

My interests include playing video games, music, bowling, woodworking, and watching cool machines. You need to assist me when I want to help the family in the garden with various gardening tasks, so it is a big plus if you, who are applying for the job, also enjoy that. I like being outside in all kinds of weather.

I live with my family and our dog in a villa in Linköping.

As a personal assistant at my home, you will help with tasks such as dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, transfers, and being my extended arm to assist where my disability sets limits. Your role also includes planning and structuring my daily life together with me to help me become as independent as possible. You will also need to manage medications, and it is important to have constant attention to my general condition as I also have diabetes.

Travel may occur as my family also has a house in Gotland, which I enjoy visiting.

I am looking for you who:

• Can tolerate pets, as we have a dog in the family
• Have good physical fitness, as transfers are part of the job
• Are passionate about your work and want to make a difference for another person
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Have experience working as a personal assistant, preferably with youth!

• Have a strong engagement for your work
• Can accompany on trips, e.g., to Gotland
• It’s a big plus if you have experience with diabetes; if not, we will train you.

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships and take on significant responsibility. It is important for our client’s parents to feel secure when you are taking care of their youth. Therefore, it is advantageous if you have experience working with children, youth, or in healthcare. We also consider it beneficial if you have experience with low-arousal approaches.

Working hours/Duration: Weekdays from about 15:00-21:30, night 21:30-08:15, and on weekends, the working hours are 08:00-20:00 or 20:00-08:00 with active time at night. I am looking for someone who can step in at short notice or for planned shifts when my regular assistants are absent.

Salary: Fixed hourly wage by agreement. Other compensation according to collective agreements.

Start date: Immediately with introduction.

Employment conditions: Hourly substitute.
