WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are now looking for an assistant who wants to be a part of our happy and energetic everyday life. You will work closely with a wonderful boy with Down syndrome, who for us is like a best friend and a ray of sunshine in our team. He loves being outdoors, taking long walks, and playing outside – activities that are a natural part of his day. Swimming is also a favorite, and we make sure to create fun and developmental activities that provide him with an active and independent daily life.

As an assistant, you will be a big part of his daily life. You will help him with everything from meals and personal hygiene to communicating through sign language. He is a person with a lot of energy and a big heart, but just like everyone else, he has his moments of defiance and challenges – that is when you as an assistant get the chance to show patience and creativity. He can be a bit defiant at times, but his positive attitude and joy always shine through, and he is our big ray of sunshine.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in creating a meaningful and active daily life for others, and who is ready to take on the challenges and joys that come with the job. You enjoy being active, are in good physical shape, and have a natural patience. You have a positive attitude and a desire to make a difference in someone else's life. We believe you have an interest in sign language, and if you don't have experience, you will receive the training you need to communicate in the best way.

Experience from similar work in care and support or education is an advantage, but we place the greatest emphasis on your personality and your willingness to create a good and developing relationship with our client. We prefer that you are calm, secure, and have the ability to handle different situations with an eye for detail and the ability to stay one step ahead.

WORKING HOURS AND EMPLOYMENT DEGREE

The working hours are distributed over both days and evenings as well as every other weekend. The position is 80% with the possibility of extra shifts.

SALARY

At Vivida, as an assistant, you receive a fixed base salary per hour + vacation pay and any additional compensation. A collective agreement is in place.

START DATE

I need a new assistant as soon as possible, and if we are right for each other, we will agree on a start date.
