Rehab Väst is part of primary healthcare in western Östergötland within Region Östergötland.

The organization offers rehabilitation in primary care and specialized care. Rehabilitation primarily takes place at the Hospital in Motala and in Mjölby, but also at the health centers in Vadstena and Ödeshög. Within the primary healthcare in the west, there is close collaboration between the units, which creates good conditions for development, participation, and cooperation.

Rehab Väst is an academic unit with high ambitions in education, development, and research. Here, a total of about eighty-five employees work with broad and deep knowledge, including administrators, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and social workers. We have close collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine at Linköping University, the region's other rehabilitation organizations, and health centers in the western part of the county.

Job Description

We are looking for a social worker for a 100% position within specialized somatic outpatient care with a focus on neurology. The assignment involves conducting crisis, processing, and support conversations with patients and relatives at the clinic and sometimes in the patient's home. As a social worker, you will participate in a team with other healthcare and rehabilitation staff. You will work closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech therapists in neurorehabilitation to ensure that patients achieve the best possible activity and participation. The work is varied with a wide scope.

You will be well taken care of by your new colleagues when you start with us, and you will be part of Rehab Väst's orientation program. As a social worker at Rehab Väst, you will receive regular supervision in your profession. About You

You have a degree in social work or equivalent. Experience in psychosocial work within healthcare is an advantage. The work requires that you have good language skills in Swedish. A B driver's license is a requirement.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills. You easily adapt to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. You are structured and plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. You are confident in yourself and have a good empathetic ability. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
