We are now looking for a personal assistant for a positive 14-year-old boy in Linköping. The boy has an intellectual disability and autism. He enjoys activities such as driving, walking in the woods, swinging, and watching movies.

Your tasks will include helping the boy with ADL and supporting his communication, as well as being a support for him in various activities. No heavy lifting is involved.

During the summer between weeks 25 – 33, we are looking for a flexible assistant who can work approximately 3 – 4 shifts a week. The shifts start at 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, as well as afternoon shifts from 4:30 PM – 7:45 PM. During weeks 27 – 32, the family will be at their summer cottage, which is an hour's drive from Linköping. A driver's license and access to a car are therefore required. An exact schedule will be established based on an agreement between the family and the assistant at the time of hiring.

Criminal Record Check:

A criminal record extract is required since the boy is a minor. According to law (2010:479), regarding background checks of personnel who will perform certain services for children with disabilities, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. The extract must be submitted to us as employers before the employment begins.
