Operations

Preschool is part of the Education Administration. We work for an equitable preschool where every child's right to education is in focus, clarifying professional roles and responsibilities for preschool teachers and childcare workers. Our vision is for the preschool to support every child regardless of their circumstances so that all are given the opportunity to develop towards the goals. Our goal is to offer supportive learning in an inspiring and safe environment that meets the needs of the individual and society. With us, professional development and networking occur continuously. We have a cohesive overarching professional development plan and five study days per year. The Preschool Operations have their own special educators. All our preschools have work clothes, both for indoor and outdoor use, as part of our efforts to increase attendance in the operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a substitute during the absence of regular staff in the Öster preschool area.

The Öster preschool area consists of nine preschools located in Borensberg, Österstad, Klockrike, Fornåsa, and Tjällmo, as well as the pedagogical care operations in Motala.

As a substitute with us, you are expected to be able to start working at short notice at various times during the operational hours.

We see that you who are applying have a commitment and curiosity for children's development and learning. You are clear and at the same time responsive in your way of communicating and have a warm and welcoming attitude towards both children and guardians as well as colleagues. You have a joyful working style and a good communicative ability and can express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish.

Our values require that everyone working in our preschools emphasizes each person's intrinsic value and respect for our shared environment. Our preschools should be permeated by a curious approach where we meet each individual with respect and in a responsive manner.

A B driver's license and access to a personal car are required.

Upon employment, a criminal record extract is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a high school education in childcare, the child and leisure program, or another education that the employer assesses as equivalent.

It is meritorious if you have experience working with children in preschool or other work that the employer assesses as equivalent.

You are confident in yourself, stand up for your opinions, and have the courage to speak up when necessary. You have the ability to separate issues from individuals and can feel secure even in uncertain situations.

You take active initiatives in social contexts, step forward, and find it easy to create new relationships and maintain relationships.

You work well with others. Relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner. You can adapt and find win-win solutions through an unpretentious focus on the common goal.
