The habilitation clinic for children and young people caters to children and adolescents up to 17 years old with permanent, congenital, or acquired disabilities and their families. The children and adolescents may have mobility impairments, intellectual disabilities, and/or autism. The operation is based on interdisciplinary teamwork where medical, psychological, educational, and social competencies collaborate. Our working method is person-centered, which means that we strive for the child to be involved in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of interventions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a medical secretary, you are our face and voice to the outside world, which gives you a great opportunity to influence the experience for both patients and partners.

Your work involves staffing the reception and assisting both over the phone and in direct meetings with patients. Another important part of the job involves providing administrative support and service to both employees and the unit manager. Your assignment also includes working on the development of administrative routines by improving and streamlining our administrative processes in various ways, thus becoming our expert in administration. Additionally, you will write journals, referrals, and letters in our journal system PMO, as well as perform administrative work in Pasis, QlikView, and Raindance. We are also preparing for the implementation of SDV, a cohesive digital healthcare system that will replace many of the current systems. You will be an important part of this implementation. The secretarial group constitutes a professional group with shared responsibility for administrative service in the Eastern area, namely the habilitation clinics in Kristianstad, Hässleholm, and Ystad. Your workplace will be in Kristianstad. This means close collaboration within the profession, but also having regular professional meetings with your immediate manager to discuss administrative routines and areas for improvement.

The working hours are scheduled during the day from 07:30 to 16:00, with evening shifts until 18:00 on Mondays.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with education in Health and Medical Care Administration 80p KY or 400p YH, or equivalent medical secretary training. You must master medical terminology and have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Additionally, you should have good computer skills and be proficient in all parts of the Microsoft Office suite. Experience with similar tasks or previous work in PMO, Pasis, QlikView, and Raindance 2.0 economic systems and marketplaces is an advantage for the position.
