About the Position

We are now looking for a distribution administrator for our client in Åstorp. This is a recruitment where you will be employed directly by our client. The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probationary period. As a distribution administrator, you will play a central role in the company's logistics flow and be a key person in the collaboration between carriers, the terminal, the sales department, and supply chain.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will work to ensure an efficient transport and distribution process. As a distribution administrator, you have a key role in ensuring that the right products reach the right place at the right time. Your main responsibilities include:

• Planning and booking transports according to the company's processes.
• Responsible for distribution and delivery monitoring of products to customers and between the company's units.
• Ensuring high customer service and smooth delivery management.
• Planning and optimizing transport solutions in accordance with agreements with carriers and freight forwarders.
• Preparing customs documents and export documents as needed.
• Managing delivery notes, freight bills, and receipts of deliveries.
• Updating and maintaining regional and delivery calendars.
• Checking freight invoices and providing statistical data, such as order and shipment statistics.
• Acting as a contact person for factory orders and providing advice on transport damage cases.

Profile & Background

We are looking for someone with a good understanding of transport and logistics as well as strong administrative skills. To succeed in this role, we see that you have experience in similar tasks within transport, logistics, or administration. You have fluent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and basic knowledge of English, as international contacts may occur. You are also comfortable using the Office suite, especially Excel.
