Accounting Economist at the National Economic Unit

The National Economic Unit is a central unit within the Tenants' Association and works with the entire group's economy. Most of us are located in Helsingborg. We are a cheerful group on an exciting digitalization journey, and we are looking for you as the final piece of our team. You will be part of a team of 15 people.

As an accounting economist, you have an important role within the Tenants' Association. You will be responsible for the accounting in some of the group's subsidiaries, as well as for year-end closing, assisting with consolidation and reporting. The role also includes contributing to training in accounting issues internally and towards our elected representatives, as well as contact with auditors and other entities related to accounting.

About the assignment

Your ongoing and daily work consists of:

• Qualified accounting such as monthly closing, annual closing, and annual reports
• Taxes and declarations
• Consolidation
• Ongoing accounting
• Periodic reconciliations

Who are you?

You have a university degree or equivalent with a focus on accounting. We see that you have at least 5 years of experience in qualified accounting work and good knowledge of the K3 regulations. Experience in group accounting is required. Work in a non-profit organization is an advantage, and experience working in a political or member-driven organization is preferred. You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have very good knowledge of the Office suite. It is an advantage if you have experience with Dynamics and Business Central or similar ERP systems.

Personal qualities:

To succeed in this role, you need analytical skills and the ability to work independently. You are unpretentious, meticulous, and enjoy a role where you can work solution-oriented. You are helpful, flexible, and a good team player. Furthermore, you possess the ability to see the big picture and are passionate about accounting.
