The position as a developer is located in the Unit for Information Security, Data Protection, and Public Access to Information, which is part of the Information Area at the Group Office's staff. Within the unit, we are about 14 employees currently working with information security, data protection, and public access to information. The work is conducted region-wide at a tactical/strategic level and supports the group management and administrations in systematic information management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a region-wide developer, you contribute your professionalism to drive and develop Region Skåne's systematic work with information at the system level. You have your eyes on the horizon to see what is coming further ahead and conduct analyses, propose measures, and produce governing documents within your area of responsibility. You work purposefully in your mission to manage and further develop Region Skåne's management system for information security and data protection.
A central part of your work is to identify Region Skåne's needs and challenges in the area and link them to the further development of Region Skåne's overall capability and operations. In the role, you use your broad knowledge in the field to steer, develop, and influence the work primarily with data protection and information security within Region Skåne. You also follow up on the systematic work and continuously adapt measures based on the organization's needs and risks. Additionally, you contribute your expertise and experience both internally and in collaboration with other authorities and organizations. You do this by driving development and leading meetings to achieve region-wide goals in the fields of information security and data protection.
The place of employment for the position is Malmö or Kristianstad by agreement. We offer the opportunity to work remotely based on the needs of the operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a university/college degree in the relevant field or other education and/or experience that the employer deems relevant. You have relevant experience in information security or data protection, risk management, and compliance, preferably related to the healthcare sector. Furthermore, you have experience in leading, developing, and implementing processes and projects. Excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
It is meritorious if you have experience working according to the ISO 27000 series or ISO 9000 series. Experience from public sector work is desirable but not required. If you have certifications in data protection or information security, such as CIPP, CISSP, CISM, and/or CISA or relevant work experience in these areas, it is also meritorious.
As a person, we see that you are driven by a strong desire to contribute to good information management in public operations where healthcare-specific issues are the main focus. You have a natural ability to see and explain connections between different areas and base your arguments on substantiated data. To succeed in the role, we see that you are meticulous with a high quality mindset while also being able to see the big picture. You have the ability to communicate in a pedagogical and structured manner, easily adapting your communication to the recipient and situation. You work in a team at a region-wide level, and we therefore see that you thrive in collaboration with others, while also being able to work independently in a flexible environment. Additionally, we value that you are solution-focused and have the ability to think outside the box. We place great importance on personal suitability.
Does this sound like an exciting role for you? We warmly welcome your application!
