As one of our field workers is going on parental leave, we are now looking for a temporary field secretary. As a field worker, you will work proactively, providing advice and support to children and youth. You will be in environments where children and youth are present. The goal is to intervene early to break destructive antisocial behavior among children and youth in Alvesta Municipality. The meetings with children, youth, and parents are based on voluntariness, trust, and respect to early detect any potential needs for support and, if necessary, guide them to the right contacts and interventions. This also means that you will largely be out where children, youth, and parents are, which means that no day is the same, and meetings can occur in many different places, both physical and digital.
Examples of tasks:

- Interventions on demand, for example in schools or with associations based on identified needs in the area groups.
- Organizing and participating in parent and association meetings.
- Advice and support conversations with youth, guardians, and other significant individuals, for example regarding alcohol/drugs, crime, mental health, life choices.
- Working with structured programs for youth, with various themes such as friendship, violence, consent, alcohol/drugs, life choices.
Part of your position will be scheduled for evenings and weekends.
