JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a social worker at the Joint Reception, you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with both children and adults, thereby developing your skills. You will be an important link in meeting residents with broad knowledge and an empathetic approach. We focus on individuals' and families' strengths while being transparent about the concerns that exist.

You are a crucial link in addressing the needs of the whole individual and working to create a social service that is available to everyone. At the Joint Reception, we work based on a vision where the individual is in focus and a social service that is perceived as coordinated and easily accessible.

As a social worker at the Joint Reception, you will receive incoming applications, reports, as well as advice and support conversations for the department's work and welfare. You will also provide information about the social services' work externally and internally. Social workers conduct safety assessments, preliminary assessments, and then decide whether to initiate an investigation or not. Social workers in the unit also work on collecting documents for new applications for financial assistance and make assessments for individuals who turn to the municipality and seek urgent help.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and at least 1 year of experience working in social services with authority over children. Previous experience in a reception function, work in financial assistance, or authority over adults is an advantage.

As a person, you enjoy receiving and working with urgent and varied cases and can easily adapt when the situation requires it. You have a good ability to collaborate with both internal and external partners, and you always maintain a client focus in your work.

We seek someone with a solution-oriented approach, and you are a natural team player. You are a responsible, structured, and analytical person with a good ability to plan and prioritize your own work. A respectful approach with an empathetic attitude when meeting people in difficult situations is essential for you.

Requirements for the position:

Driver's license B
Degree in social work
Knowledge of applicable social legislation
One year of experience with authority over children
