JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a personal assistant for a man in his 65s. The person requiring assistance is wheelchair-bound, and his disability involves reduced speech and mobility. The person requiring assistance lives in the southern part of the municipality. In this role, you will be the extended arm of the person requiring assistance and will plan, design, implement, and follow up on all his daily activities together with him. A major focus of the work is to create security, stability, and a good everyday life for the person requiring assistance. The work involves working alone, which makes it important that you can take responsibility, follow routines, and maintain good record-keeping. The schedule is set from Monday to Sunday, including days, evenings, and overnight shifts. Shift lengths often reach up to 24 hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has completed a high school education from the care program, personal assistance training, or equivalent qualifications deemed comparable by the employer. For the position, it is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language. You are calm and stable, proactive, and responsive to the needs of the care recipient, and you naturally respect other people.
